About the Client
You will be supporting a woman in her 40s who lives in her own home with 24/7 support. She has Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, which means she requires tailored assistance around communication, partial sight, learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. She is active, energetic, and loves spending time outdoors in large open spaces. Sensory activities also play an important part in her routine. She benefits from clear communication, structure, and patient, consistent support. Your role will be to help her live a full and meaningful life, offering emotional reassurance, physical assistance, and positive engagement with her environment.
About the Role
As her support worker, you’ll build a trusting and positive relationship, ensuring her daily life is structured, enjoyable and centred around her needs and preferences. You’ll work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
Schedule
- Week 1: Thursday – Day shift, Saturday – Day shift, Wednesday – 24-hour shift
- Week 2: Thursday – Day shift, Saturday – Day shift, Sunday – Day shift, Saturday & Sunday – 24-hour shifts
Pay Rates
- Day shifts: £16.22 per hour (Mon–Sat), £17.30 per hour (Sunday)
- Night shifts: £19.47 per hour
