We are seeking a hungry, driven Business Development Manager to accelerate sales growth across the London & South East region. This is a results-focused field sales role for someone who thrives on winning new business, growing accounts, and hitting targets. This role is ideal for a high-potential individual stepping into their first field sales position, particularly someone with a background or strong interest in paints, decorating, or DIY products, who wants to build a long-term sales career.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Driving sales growth across your territory by developing existing accounts and securing new business
- Taking full ownership of territory performance, delivering against revenue, margin, and KPI targets
- Identifying, opening, and converting new sales opportunities within independent retailers, wholesalers, and regional groups
- Actively promoting and selling the full product range, including new launches and promotions
- Negotiating commercial terms, promotions, and business plans with customers
- Increasing distribution, shelf presence, and point-of-sale execution in store
- Planning your week to maximise customer contact and sales opportunity
- Using CRM to manage pipeline, forecast activity, and report results
