About the Role

We are looking for a highly autonomous and detail-oriented Finance Manager / General Accountant to join our subsidiary. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial operations and reliable reporting to the parent company. You will act as a trusted financial partner locally and a key contact for the head office finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain general and auxiliary accounting (accounts receivable and payable)
  • Oversee client accounts, including follow-up, payment reminders, and litigation tracking
  • Perform regular account reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and manage monthly bank reconciliations
  • Support quarterly reporting by preparing entries, including:
    • Identification of unpaid invoices
    • Accruals (invoices to be issued, charges, deferred income, etc.)
    • Other adjustments (e.g. participation in advertising costs)
  • Coordinate with external/local accountants by:
    • Providing necessary elements for the annual financial statements
    • Supporting the preparation of monthly payroll and social/fiscal declarations
  • Support the subsidiary director with ad hoc administrative tasks

Key Relationships

  • Reports directly to the Subsidiary Director
  • Acts as the functional liaison with the Group Finance Department, particularly during:
    • Quarterly reporting cycles
    • Year-end closing processes

Technical Requirements

  • Solid experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Excel

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification such as: ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA (or local equivalent) – preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role
  • Experience in subsidiary or international group reporting is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • General accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
    • Financial reporting and closing processes
    • Tax and regulatory requirements (local compliance)
  • Proven experience in:
    • Accounts payable/receivable management
    • Monthly and quarterly closing activities
    • Working with external auditors or accountants
