Liberis is building the embedded finance platform that lets partners around the world offer innovative funding products to their small business customers. We're a growth-stage fintech with teams in London, Nottingham, Atlanta, Stockholm, Munich and Mumbai, and we’re building a global Product, Data & Engineering team that thrives on autonomy, ownership, and is focused on impact! Our teams solve real-world problems for small businesses, shaping products that unlock opportunity at scale.
Engineering is going through an AI-first transformation, rethinking how teams are structured and how they ship. It's changing what a small team can do! We empower our teams to make decisions, move fast, and take full responsibility for the solutions they deliver. You’ll join a team where curiosity is encouraged and collaboration across Product, Data, Delivery and Engineering is the norm.
The role:
Turn new partner opportunities into lending solutions that deliver for Liberis and our partners. As Product Solutions Lead, you’ll work across Business Development, Product, Risk and Technology to shape what we offer, how it works and the commercial case behind it. Reporting to the Head of Solutions and GTM, you’ll bring a product mindset to partner conversations, balancing ambition, commercial value and technical feasibility. You’ll own the solution scope and commercial outcomes, working closely with the teams responsible for programme delivery and technical implementation.
This is a new role with the autonomy to shape how the solutions function operates. Your work will span products, partners and regions, giving you meaningful influence over the team’s ways of working and future direction.
What you'll get to do:
- Work with Business Development and prospective partners to understand their needs, assess opportunities in new regions and partner types, and define the right product and commercial approach.
- Build business cases using existing financial models to understand revenue potential, costs and the drivers of a successful lending programme.
- Turn partner problems into clear requirements, aligning Product, Risk and Technology on what we can deliver and which capabilities we need to develop.
- Define a clear scope for delivery teams and stay accountable for the solution's commercial performance as it moves towards launch.
- Manage and develop your team, establishing practical frameworks and processes as the function grows.
- Feed partner insights and gaps in our offering into the team's strategy.
The interview process:
- Screening call with Chess (Internal Recruiter) (30 mins)
- Video interview with the Hiring Manager (1 hour)
- Case study interview (90 mins)
- Video interview with the wider Liberis team (1 hour)
What we think you'll need:
- Product management or closely related experience: you can understand a problem, define requirements and work effectively with technology teams.
- Experience working with enterprise clients or partners, including navigating their stakeholders and decision-making processes.
- Commercial judgement: you can assess a business case, use Excel models and explain what makes an opportunity financially worthwhile.
- Enough technical fluency to read API documentation and contribute to integration discussions. You don't need to code or design the technical implementation.
- The ability to influence without direct authority, handle difficult conversations and bring commercial and technical teams to a shared decision.
- A hands-on approach to ambiguity: you can move work forward while improving the processes around it.
- Experience in lending or embedded finance would be particularly useful. Payments, marketplaces, cards or open banking experience would also help.
Our hybrid approach:
Working together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better and build a great Liberis culture. Our hybrid working approach requires colleagues to attend the office at least three days a week, increasing to at least four days a week in Q1 2027.
