At Liberis, our mission is to empower small and medium-sized businesses by removing finance as a friction to growth, delivering contextual, embedded financial solutions to support merchants at every stage of their business lifecycle.
Customer Operations sits at the heart of Liberis' funding process. Sitting within the Funding team, you'll own the customer's journey from the moment a deal is submitted by Sales through to funds being released - acting as the customer's main point of contact and the connective tissue between Sales, Underwriting and our funding partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to build experience in fintech, SME finance and funding operations within a fast-growing international business.
What you'll do:
- Manage a live pipeline of 50–60 customer submissions from initial submission through to funding, tracking each case's status and next steps.
- Review submissions coming in from Sales, collecting the required documents from customers and checking them for accuracy and completeness before passing them to Underwriting.
- Act as the customer's main point of contact throughout the process, keeping them informed at every stage and answering their questions.
- Chase customers to get contracts signed, resolving any queries or hesitations that could delay completion.
- Liaise with our funding partners once a contract is signed to apply the agreed split, so the customer can be funded.
- Work closely with Sales, Underwriting and Partner teams to keep cases moving and flag blockers early.
- Share feedback from customers and partners to help improve our processes.
What we're looking for:
- Fluent English and one other language (Portuguese or Spanish).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume, multi-stage pipeline without letting cases slip.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing documentation.
- Confident, proactive communicator - comfortable chasing customers and partners to keep deals on track.
- Interest in fintech, SME finance or financial services.
- Organised, adaptable and eager to learn.
