We are building the embedded finance platform that allows partners worldwide to offer funding products to small businesses. Our teams solve real-world problems for small businesses by shaping products that unlock opportunity at scale.

The Cloud Platform team builds and operates the shared infrastructure and developer tooling that all engineering teams at Liberis depend on. We run services in GCP and are migrating from Azure. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with an emphasis on AI Enablement to build and run the shared infrastructure and expand the use of AI across the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and tooling across compute, networking, CI/CD, and deployment on Kubernetes or Cloud Run.
  • Champion AI agent adoption across the platform.
  • Build foundations for AI agents: integrations with Claude, tools and services agents call, and orchestration.
  • Wire observability, guardrails, and cost controls into AI agents and tooling.
  • Work hands-on with AI tooling and agent frameworks, especially Claude.
  • Manage infrastructure with Terraform, maintain audit-ability and reproducibility.
  • Contribute to Azure-to-GCP migration strategy, especially regarding AI tooling.
  • Partner with product engineers to lower barrier to AI use, writing docs, templates, and examples.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm for AI agents; learning and leading-by-doing mindset.
  • Strong GCP experience (Azure experience is a plus).
  • Comfort with containerisation (Docker) and deployment on Kubernetes or Cloud Run.
  • Experience with Terraform for IaC.
  • Proficiency in at least one of .NET (C#), Node.js, or Python.
  • Observability experience: Datadog or cloud-native logging and monitoring (GCP Cloud Operations, Azure Monitor).
  • Track record of driving adoption – building tools engineers use, writing docs that are read.
  • Comfort leading technical decisions, collaborating across teams, and mentoring other engineers.
