The Business Performance & Operations team sits at the heart of how Liberis delivers results. We define what performance means, turn it into a repeatable machine through clear goals and rituals, and raise the performance bar across the company â from individual contributors to the Executive Team.
As a Business Performance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and operating Liberis' performance engine. You will coâcreate and lead the execution of companyâwide performance rituals â from planning and goal setting through to reviews, communications, and outcomes â ensuring performance is visible, decisions are high quality, and action follows insight.
You will use performance data and insight to surface what's working, what isn't, and what needs to change â driving actions that raise standards at an individual, team, and company level. This will include partnering with, influencing, and at times challenging senior leaders to ensure accountability and followâthrough.
As a member of the CEO Office, you will also support delivery of the CEO's top priorities, particularly those related to internal performance, leadership cadence, and companyâwide rituals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, is comfortable operating with senior leaders, and is motivated by building highâperforming organisations.
What youâll be doing:
- Build and run the performance machine
- Co-create and lead execution of Liberis' core performance rituals, including planning cycles, goal setting, MBRs, performance outcomes, and company communications
- Ensure goals cascade clearly from company â team â individual, with strong ownership and accountability
- Improve the pace, clarity, and quality of companyâwide decisionâmaking through better structure, insight, and followâthrough
- Make performance visible and actionable
- Own performance reporting and dashboards that surface insight, not noise
- Translate data into clear narratives, actions, and tradeâoffs for leaders
- Drive interventions when performance is offâtrack, raising standards over time
- Use performance insights to drive continuous improvement at individual, team, and company level
- Partner with leaders and the People team on performance outcomes, including input into compensation and incentive schemes
- Play a central role in shaping a highâperformance culture through the performance cycle
- Support the CEO on top priorities, particularly internal performance, leadership cadence, and execution discipline
- Help orchestrate key company rituals and leadership moments
- Act as a trusted, independent operator able to challenge constructively when needed
What we think youâll need:
- Experience in business performance, strategy, operations, or Chief of Staffâtype role
- A strong operator mindset driven by impact, able to build systems and make things happen
- Highly dataâdriven, with the ability to turn insight into action
- A curious generalist who learns fast and joins dots across the organisation
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to operate independently with senior executives and handle challenging conversations
- Sound judgement â knowing when to go deep, when to move fast, and when to push for a decision
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure without overâengineering
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments is a plus, but not essential
