Part Time Retail Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Retail Sales Associate to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining an organised sales environment. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive displays
• Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximise sales opportunities
• Handle customer enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Organise stock levels, restock shelves, and ensure the sales floor remains tidy and inviting
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining visual standards and stock organisation
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Good communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all duties are completed promptly

Pay: £14,160.56-£36,390.07 per year
