Our mission is to empower enterprises to migrate mission-critical applications to modern, affordable databases without costly rewrites. With live customers already using our platform and growing demand from the market, we’re well on our way to disrupting the industry—and we’re just getting started.
We’re hiring our first DevOps Engineer. This is not just a role—it’s a chance to define how DevOps is done at Liberatii. You’ll lay the foundations for infrastructure, automation, and reliability practices that will scale with us as we grow. If you’re passionate about automation, resilient systems, and building a culture of DevOps from the ground up, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What You’ll Do
- Define DevOps Culture: Establish DevOps as a core part of engineering—owning CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure strategy.
- Build Infrastructure: Design and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
- Automate Delivery: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to embed testing and reliability directly into the development lifecycle (no separate QA team).
- Run Containers at Scale: Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes across dev, staging, and production.
- Own Reliability: Build observability into our platform with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Enable Engineering: Work side by side with developers to remove friction, accelerate delivery, and embed resilience from day one.
- Shape the Future: Define standards, tools, and practices that will scale as Liberatii grows from startup to global leader.
Who You Are
- Experienced: 3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles with hands-on experience building production systems.
- Cloud Native: Skilled with one or more cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Automation-Driven: Fluent with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi) and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
- CI/CD Champion: Proven experience designing robust pipelines with GitHub Actions (or similar).
- Reliability-Focused: Strong background in monitoring, incident management, and high-availability practices.
- Culture Builder: You don’t just run systems—you influence how teams think about delivery, testing, and reliability.
Preferred Experience
- Managing relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) in production.
- Running distributed systems and scaling infrastructure for performance.
- Knowledge of zero-downtime deployments and rollback strategies.
- Experience optimizing cost and performance in cloud environments.
Our Tech Stack
- Core: Linux, PostgreSQL, C++, TypeScript, LLVM
- Ops: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Azure/AWS/GCP
- Monitoring: Grafana, ELK
