Libellum is continuing to grow, and we're looking for an experienced NDT Technician to join our team on a permanent basis.
The role will be predominantly based across Teesside & the North East, working in busy fabrication shops and on client sites. Applicants must also be prepared to travel throughout the UK and internationally when projects require it.
The position is based on 37.5 hours per week, with a high likelihood for overtime, depending on project requirements. Basic hourly rate £18.50 - £21.00 per hour depending upon qualifications & experience. You'll get 25 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
Essential qualifications:
- PCN Level 2 Magnetic Particle Testing
- PCN Level 2 Dye Penetrant Testing
- PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing - 3.8/3.9
Desired qualifications:
- PCN Level 2 Eddy Current Testing
- PCN Level 2 Visual Testing
Experience:
- Previous experience working within busy fabrication shop environments.
- Experience of working alone and as part of a larger project team.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients and client quality teams.
- Competent using Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Experience completing reports for clients.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work, understands fabrication and welding processes, and recognises the importance of clear, accurate and timely reporting.
The successful applicant must be comfortable working alongside production teams, managing changing priorities and maintaining inspection standards in a fast-paced environment. They will also need to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider project team.
