We’re excited to announce the upcoming opening of Walker House — a brand-new, purpose-built care home in the heart of Andover, opening its doors in September. This is a unique opportunity to join our team from the very beginning and help shape the culture, values, and exceptional care standards that will define Walker House. Ahead of the grand opening, new team members will begin their journey by working in our established homes nearby. This supported induction period offers hands-on experience, training, and the chance to become fully embedded in our approach to care before transferring to Walker House as part of its founding team.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Support Worker to join our team.
A Residential Home with 5 beds. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, while also requiring you to drive people we support as part of their care and routine.
Shift Pattern:

  • 12-hour day shifts- 7.30am to 8.00pm
  • 42 hours weekly
  • Every other weekend included
Requirements:
  • A full UK manual driver’s license
  • Held your UK license for at least 2 years
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and promoting independence
  • Friendly, patient, and flexible with strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Supporting individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and day-to-day activities
  • Safely transporting service users to appointments, social activities, and outings
  • Building positive relationships with those you support
  • Maintaining accurate care records
