We’re excited to announce the upcoming opening of Walker House — a brand-new, purpose-built care home in the heart of Andover, opening its doors in January. This is a unique opportunity to join our team from the very beginning and help shape the culture, values, and exceptional care standards that will define Walker House. Ahead of the grand opening, new team members will begin their journey by working in our established homes nearby. This supported induction period offers hands-on experience, training, and the chance to become fully embedded in our approach to care before transferring to Walker House as part of its founding team.

We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant. Full training and support will be given.
Shift Pattern:
- 12-hour night shifts – 8pm – 8am
- 42 hours weekly
- Every other weekend included
What you will be doing:
- Using the training provided, assist those we support by helping with daily tasks
- Be there to support in day-to-day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
- Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
- Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home
What we would like you to have:
- A basic understanding of care is beneficial, but no formal experience is required
- Strong communication skills
- Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously
- Effective decision making and judgement
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Achieves all Health & Safety standards
