What You Will Be Doing:
- Acting as a role model by leading and supervising carers day-to-day, working alongside them and completing regular staff appraisals.
- Ensuring good team working.
- Motivating, supporting and mentoring the staff when needed.
- Organising staff allocations and breaks.
- Promoting the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.
What we would like you to have:
- Strong communication skills.
- Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
- Effective decision making and judgement.
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Successfully completed NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
- Achieves all Health & Safety standards.
