What You Will Be Doing:

  • Acting as a role model by leading and supervising carers day-to-day, working alongside them and completing regular staff appraisals.
  • Ensuring good team working.
  • Motivating, supporting and mentoring the staff when needed.
  • Organising staff allocations and breaks.
  • Promoting the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.

What we would like you to have:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
  • Effective decision making and judgement.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Successfully completed NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (or equivalent).
