We are now recruiting for a an experienced, passionate and dedicated License Jersey Designer specialising in Womenswear who has experience working with different brand licenses and translating those into commercial designs for the high street. This role will work alongside an extended design team, and Account Manager based in London.

About the Role
Key areas of responsibility include
- Accountable for creating trend led ranges within the team based in the clients specifications, working closely with a graphics and print team.
- Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the brands direction and critical path within sometimes tight deadlines.
- Working as part of the design team to provide an effective and efficient service to various areas of the business.
- Develop ranges with Account Manager with customer profile in mind.
- To assist in the sourcing and development of new raw materials/components are aesthetically acceptable, technically sound and cost effective to the relevant product area.
- Ensure that all Product ranges are creatively and effectively presented and updated regularly in the show rooms, create a great visual customer experience.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to develop new ranges. This will include attending sales meetings with customers and possible trips to the Far East to work with suppliers.
- Supporting the business in adding value to its clients, understanding and researching new product development opportunities.
- Share knowledge of manufacturing process and techniques.
- Any reasonable additional duties as requested or delegated by your line manager.
We are looking for a Designer who is
- The successful applicants will have Jersey design experience ideally with a related supplier
- Licensing design experience as well as working with different licensors
- Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials.
- Target driven with a passion for fashion and the confidence to grow and develop.
- Ability to produce technical sheets for manufacturing products.
- Strong CAD and illustrator skills.
- Print knowledge along with shape skills would be an added benefit
- Digital approach to working processes
- Organised and efficient to keep up with demands of customer, ability to provide commercial and creative insights to different customers.
- Good communication skills, time management and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and successfully manage own time and priorities.
- Highly credible, knowledgably and has a strong personal impact internally and with the customer.
- Strong presentation skills with excellent eye for product.
- A design related degree or relevant previous experience in a design related role.
