We are seeking an Assembly Technician to work in the final build out of precision chemical detection equipment. This is a short term project and it requires skills in following instructions and some delicate work in putting hardware together.
What you'll do:
- Precision assembly of chemical detector units, which will involve soldering components, using hand tools, and conducting visual inspections with magnification.
- Component handling, managing small components with care, and having awareness of electrostatic discharge sensitivities.
Your background:
- Experience in any area of assembly or other similar work, from professional or hobbies (for example, you might have a hobby like painting Warhammer figures or other arts that require focus and attention to detail).
- Soldering experience is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, following plans and checklists with a right first time approach.
- Reliability, as full attendance is needed over the short period.
