Job Summary
LHV Bank is searching for an experienced Lead IT Systems Administrator with strong experience in administering and developing Atlassian. You will be responsible for driving forward changes to our ITSM and incident management processes using Jira Service Management. This role requires a proactive, conscientious and technically proficient individual who can maintain and enhance the performance of our critical business systems in a dynamic financial services environment. You will be the subject‑matter expert for all Atlassian products and will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the IT portal, automations, workflows, etc.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the work of the system admin team, ensuring the team runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Design, optimise, and document the incident management process in JSM including alert management and operations schedules.
- Build reports, dashboards, and roadmaps to provide daily MI and reporting for the CIO function and Board.
- Build automations between JSM and EntraID to automate processes for access management, joiner and leaver processes.
- Build automated user access audits to include access reviews and recertification of user access.
- Lead requirements gathering with relevant business areas to optimise how access and permissions are managed across systems.
- Create detailed documentation for access, permission and general configuration across our IT systems.
- Develop training material and knowledge articles to educate users on Atlassian products.
- Actively contribute to IT projects, including system implementations, migrations, and integrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expert level knowledge of the Atlassian estate with demonstrable experience of building complex integration and automations.
- Ability to use scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
- Understanding of Software Development LifeCycle and ability to apply this to system administration tasks ensuring all changes are thoroughly tested and deployed in a controlled manner.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage complex systems efficiently.
- Experience of working in a highly regulated industry would be beneficial.
- Ability to manage a range of stakeholders across the Bank.
- Thorough understanding of IT security and compliance and the importance of these in a regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Atlassian and Salesforce administration.
- Experience in a financial services or similarly regulated environment.
