About the Role
This internship is designed to give early-career talent practical exposure to platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and the tools used to support modern banking services. The role combines structured learning with a final project that allows the intern to contribute to a defined technical use case.
- Gain exposure to platform engineering practices, tools, and technologies used within the bank.
- Learn version control fundamentals and GitHub workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.
- Build understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, S3, VPC, ingress, load balancing, and EC2.
- Learn how infrastructure is built using Terraform, including modules and root configurations.
- Gain exposure to observability practices including logging, metrics, alerting, and runbooks.
- Learn CI/CD and GitOps fundamentals, including GitHub Actions.
- Gain introductory exposure to containers and Kubernetes concepts.
- Explore emerging technologies and relevant AI use cases in infrastructure.
- Deliver a final project involving a real infrastructure component for a defined use case, from requirements gathering through to implementation, deployment, and documentation.
Students will gain:
