The Role
As the Head of Product, you will own the strategy and delivery for specific product domains within our organization. This role combines a strong understanding of agile delivery, experimentation, discovery, and the complete product management lifecycle.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure the successful execution of domain-specific roadmaps. You’ll focus on delivering high-quality products that balance customer satisfaction with business objectives, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Domain Leadership & Strategy
- Own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for assigned product domains, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Advocate for a user-first mindset, integrating UX and usability principles into the product lifecycle.
- Provide clear direction and guidance on UX strategies to internal and external teams, ensuring consistency and excellence in design practices.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, discovery, and experimentation within your domains, using data and customer insights to inform decisions.
Agile Delivery & Execution
- Lead agile product delivery within your domains, ensuring MVPs are scoped, prioritized, and delivered efficiently.
- Drive a culture of experimentation, leveraging continuous discovery practices, A/B testing, prototyping, and feedback loops to validate ideas and improve products.
- Partner with UX/UI designers and engineers to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions iteratively.
- Champion continuous discovery processes, ensuring regular engagement with customers to uncover needs, validate problems, and explore new opportunities.
- Collaborate with research teams to integrate qualitative and quantitative insights into product development.
- Ensure the product vision evolves alongside customer feedback and market trends.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer success, to align on objectives and priorities.
- Act as the main point of contact for product-related decisions within your domains, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other product leaders to share best practices and ensure consistency across the broader product portfolio.
Performance & Impact
- Define and monitor key performance metrics for your domains, ensuring goals are met and value is delivered.
- Regularly report on progress, challenges, and successes to leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuously refine product processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
What We\’re Looking For:
Experience
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in delivering successful MVPs, leading agile delivery, and driving experimentation and discovery.
- Strong background in UX, product design, or equivalent, with the ability to guide teams in creating user-centered products.
- Experience managing complex product domains and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of agile delivery practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
- Exceptional ability to prioritize, plan, and deliver results in fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, user research methodologies, and accessibility standards.
- Demonstrable experience in providing UX leadership and direction to multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and empathetic approach.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with experimentation techniques (e.g., A/B testing, prototyping) and continuous discovery frameworks.
