Lhoist are a successful, international Belgium company that has several sites in the UK. As a manufacturer of high-quality lime and dolomitic lime products we deliver to a widening worldwide market.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team at Hindlow. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across site. The Electrical Engineer will work a 12-hour shift pattern (66) as follows: 4 days on, 5 days off, 4 nights on, 3 days off. This rotation then repeats on a continuous rolling basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on plant equipment.
- Support production by minimising downtime and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in planned maintenance and improvement projects.
Core Qualifications:
- Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience in industrial electrical systems and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a shift team.
Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
