We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly reception team. You will be working in a beautiful newly renovated 30 bedroom hotel with stunning sea views, located in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay, on the North Yorkshire Coast. The hotel offers a range of luxurious bedrooms, as well as excellent dining facilities with a newly refurbished sea view restaurant, stunning cocktail bar & lounge, and a large friendly traditional Yorkshire pub. We also host weddings and various events throughout the year.

Main duties include:

  • Greeting and registering guests
  • Assisting with check-in and check-out
  • Handling reservations and room assignments
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Managing phone calls and guest inquiries
  • Processing payments
  • Email responding and management
  • Solving guest issues
  • Cash handling
  • Collaborating with other hotel staff for smooth operations

Experience in a customer focused environment with good IT, administration and communication skills would be preferred; however, if you have excellent customer care skills and a positive approach, then we would be more than willing to invest time and training to the right candidate.
