Professional and experienced bartenders are wanted for a restaurant in a premium cocktail lounge located in the heart of the Cathedral quarter on the Bailgate. We are looking for enthusiastic and sociable cocktail bartenders.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
- Drink preparation and serving
- Developing a knowledge of our products and cocktails
- Ensuring the bar and bar floor is tidy & clean to maintain the right atmosphere
- Adhering to all the standards required of the hotel
- Following procedures outlined by heads of departments and supervisors
- Serving bar food
- Upselling and recommending menu items
- Standing for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment
You will be part of a growing team of amicable, ambitious and inspiring bartenders. You will have a strong work ethic, time management, excellent people skills and a total commitment to exceeding guest expectations. A good level of written and spoken English as well as numeracy skills is required. You must be motivated to work in the hospitality industry and be confident, a team player, and able to work well under pressure for extended periods.
Training will be provided if successful, but bar experience is required. The job will involve mornings, evenings, and/or weekends, so flexibility in working hours will be necessary.
