We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly reception team. You will be working in a beautiful newly renovated 30 bedroom hotel with stunning sea views, located in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay, on the North Yorkshire Coast. The hotel offers a range of luxurious bedrooms, as well as excellent dining facilities with a newly refurbished sea view restaurant, stunning cocktail bar & lounge, and a large friendly traditional Yorkshire pub. We also host weddings and various events throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and registering guests
- Assisting with check-in and check-out
- Handling reservations and room assignments
- Managing phone calls and guest inquiries
- Processing payments
- Email responding and management
- Solving guest issues
- Collaborating with other hotel staff for smooth operations
Qualifications:
Experience in a customer focused environment with good IT, administration and communication skills would be preferred. However, if you have excellent customer care skills and a positive approach, then we would be more than willing to invest time and training to the right candidate.
