A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join its in-house legal team. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the business supports a diverse range of stakeholders on complex, high-value commercial activity and is known for its collaborative and inclusive culture.
The Role
You’ll join a busy, established contracts team, providing critical legal support across the organisation globally. The team is responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and concluding client-facing and supplier contracts, ensuring all agreements align with internal risk policies, standards, and values. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted adviser to internal legal, commercial, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts including engagement terms, framework agreements, RFPs, NDAs, and panel arrangements
- Advise on a broad range of commercial matters, including events, secondments, legal technology, and business development initiatives
- Support procurement by reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts (IT and non-IT)
- Draft and maintain standard terms, templates, policies, and internal guidance
- Prepare risk summaries and support internal approvals
- Drive efficiencies through process improvement and use of technology
- Supervise junior team members as required
- Contribute to cross-business projects and training initiatives
About You
- Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to risk
- Comfortable working at pace and managing competing priorities
- Able to build effective relationships across legal, compliance, procurement, pricing, and wider business teams
- In-house or professional services experience advantageous but not essential
