Our client, a leading UK Financial Services Group is looking for an experienced strategic sourcing manager within financial services supply chain, to lead the strategic sourcing and contract renewal of complex software contracts.
In this role you will need exceptional negotiating skills and previous working knowledge of complex software contracts from concept through RFP/RFI and contract award. There will be a wide range of medium to high value contracts as well as some lower value yet business critical contracts, sourcing new technologies.
Experience sourcing Risk and Economic Crime platforms as well as payments, finance and people platforms would be highly advantageous as well as experience of AI software.
In order to be successful in this role, you must be able to operate at a senior level, managing executive level stakeholders and be an exceptional communicator. You must have a proven track record of the end to end sourcing of software in a similar function within a Financial Services environment.
