Our fast growing consumer brand client is looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to work on legal matters across the business on a part-time (3 days/week) basis — a rare opportunity to combine high-quality in-house work with genuine flexibility.
The role has a strong UK retail property focus, working on lease renewals, rent reviews and new site acquisitions, while also leading on commercial contracts, franchising and brand/IP matters.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and manage external counsel, taking a hands-on approach in a fast-paced, growing business.
Key requirements:- UK-qualified solicitor (c. 6–10 PQE)
- Broad commercial contracts experience
- Strong commercial property experience (ideally retail/leasing)
- Confident negotiating with landlords (London exposure helpful)
- Commercial, pragmatic and business-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently in an SME environment
- Experience with franchising and managing external counsel is a plus
