An exciting opportunity for an experienced Supervising Solicitor to join a well-established firm at their South London office and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.

About the Role:

As a Supervising Solicitor, you will play a key role in leading and developing the family and childcare law team. You’ll work on a diverse caseload, providing expert advice and representation across various areas of family law, while also supporting team growth and maintaining high service standards.

Experience in the following areas:

  • Care Proceedings and Public Law Outline (PLO) matters
  • Divorce and financial settlements
  • Private Law Children cases
  • Domestic Abuse, Non-Molestation, and Occupation Orders
  • General family issues, including unmarried couples and cohabitation disputes

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ PQE
  • Is capable of leading and supervising a growing team
  • Can work confidently both independently and collaboratively
  • Is competent and willing to undertake their own advocacy
  • Has an existing following (preferred but not essential)
  • Is willing to work towards panel accreditation
  • Proactive in networking and business development
  • An understanding of legal aid procedures

The team works on a hybrid basis, combining office and remote working, with a culture built on trust, accountability and meeting deadlines and targets.
