A well established City law firm is seeking a Construction Associate with between 2-4 PQE to join its growing specialist construction team on a permanent, full time basis. The construction practice has earned strong recognition in leading legal directories and continues to expand its presence in the market. The team provides both contentious and non-contentious construction advice, supporting clients throughout the entire lifecycle of development projects, from initial planning and procurement through to completion and post-completion matters.

Working closely alongside a wider real estate practice, the team advises clients across sectors including commercial property, logistics, retail, healthcare, life sciences, infrastructure, hospitality, and data centres. The disputes team represents a diverse client base, including developers, contractors, subcontractors, property owners, and asset managers. Areas of expertise include adjudication, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience gained within a recognised construction law practice.
  • Approximately 2–4 years’ PQE, ideally with contentious construction experience, although candidates with relevant advisory experience will be considered.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and organisational abilities.
  • Solid academic credentials and strong problem-solving capabilities.
