A highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join a growing and dynamic team.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and deliver exceptional bookkeeping and accounting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Prepare balance sheets, debtors, creditors, management accounts, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations to support client reporting needs.
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation and liaise with auditors where required.
- Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for queries and providing proactive advice.
- Oversee and review work completed by junior team members, offering guidance and support.
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
About You
- Must have proven experience in a senior bookkeeping role within practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and VAT.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with strong client service skills.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- Must have full UK working rights
