A senior leadership position reporting to the Finance Director, responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across the UK & Ireland. You’ll oversee balance sheet integrity, working capital, cash flow, tax, and payroll accounting, while partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the financial accounting team
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance (IFRS & UK GAAP)
- Own balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital performance
- Oversee monthly, year-end, and statutory reporting
- Manage tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT)
- Lead internal and external audits
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight
- Manage external relationships (banks, auditors, regulators)
- Drive process improvements across finance
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS & UK GAAP)
- Commercially aware with strong communication skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused
