We are supporting a requirement for an experienced Project Controls / Schedule Management professional to join the GCAP Electronics Evolution (G2E) programme within the Programme Management Office.

This role will support the Lead Schedule Manager in the development, maintenance and control of integrated programme schedules. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring schedule integrity, managing dependencies and supporting effective programme delivery across a complex, multi-partner environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and update the Domain Master Schedule (DMS) and associated programme schedules
  • Support critical path analysis and identify scheduling conflicts, delays and dependencies
  • Monitor schedule performance and produce regular updates for internal and external stakeholders (including IMS reporting)
  • Identify, track and manage assumptions, dependencies and exclusions (ADEs)
  • Support risk and opportunity identification from a scheduling perspective
  • Ensure alignment of schedules with programme objectives, milestones and contractual requirements
  • Engage with cross-functional and international stakeholders to ensure schedule consistency and alignment
Required Experience
  • Proven experience in project controls, planning or schedule management on large, complex programmes
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Experience in aerospace, defence or similarly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of critical path methodology and schedule performance analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international teams
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • APMP / APM qualification desirable
Additional Information
  • Outside IR35 contract
  • Approximately 90% onsite working requirement
  • UK travel and limited international travel may be required
  • Must be eligible for SC clearance and hold sole UK nationality
  • Role does not carry direct P&L responsibility but operates within a consortium delivery environment
