An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join an established In-House legal team on a part-time basis. This role offers the chance to work on a varied and high-profile property portfolio within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. This position would suit a commercially minded lawyer with strong transactional property experience who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.
The Role
- You will play a key role in advising on a broad range of commercial property matters relating to the acquisition, management and disposal of property interests.
- The work is varied, high value and commercially significant.
- Negotiating and drafting transfers and assignments of freehold and leasehold property.
- Advising on easements, licences and associated property rights.
- Supporting major capital delivery and infrastructure-related projects.
- Advising on planning-related matters and associated property issues.
- Handling matters involving protective provisions, powers of entry, compensation and related agreements.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical and commercially focused legal advice.
About You
- Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or CILEX Lawyers in England & Wales with strong commercial property experience gained either in private practice or in-house.
- Circa 3+ years’ PQE in commercial property law.
- Experience dealing with acquisitions and disposals involving easements.
- Experience handling both freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Exposure to planning-related matters would be advantageous.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, solutions-driven and collaborative approach.
