Role Overview:
As a People Development Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping my client’s talent development strategy. You will work closely with various departments to identify training needs and implement effective solutions that enhance employee performance and engagement. Your expertise will help cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development ensuring their workforce is equipped to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Needs Assessment: Collaborate with managers and employees to identify training and development needs across the organisation.
- Programme Development: Design, implement, and evaluate training programmes that align with business objectives and enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to managers in developing their teams, fostering a culture of coaching and feedback.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Learning Culture: Promote a culture of continuous learning by advocating for professional development opportunities and resources.
- Metrics and Reporting: Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programmes and report on outcomes to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and programme effectiveness.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
