An opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Associate to join one of the UK’s most highly regarded law firms outside London, as part of a well established national pensions practice. The team advises a broad and sophisticated client base, including household name employers, trustees, financial institutions and multinational organisations. The work is varied and intellectually engaging, spanning core advisory pensions matters, scheme governance, de‑risking projects and complex transactional support on corporate and finance‑led deals.

You will work closely with senior lawyers and Partners who are recognised leaders in the pensions space, benefitting from strong mentoring, high levels of responsibility and direct client exposure from an early stage. The role offers excellent technical development within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The role

  • Advising on a wide range of pensions law matters, including day‑to‑day advisory work
  • Supporting on de‑risking exercises, restructurings and liability management projects
  • Providing pensions input on corporate transactions and wider commercial matters
  • Working closely with colleagues across offices, including a leading London team

About you

  • Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in pensions law
  • Strong technical foundation with a commercial, client‑focused approach
  • Comfortable working as part of a national team and building trusted client relationships
  • Keen to develop your career within a high performing, well resourced practice
