A leading international professional services consultancy is seeking a Paralegal to join its in-house legal team based in Tyne & Wear.
This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate, LPC/LLM/SQE candidate, or early-career legal professional looking to develop their commercial legal experience within a supportive and highly respected business.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced legal professionals, assisting with:
- Reviewing commercial contracts and identifying legal, insurance and commercial risks
- Preparing contract summaries and legal reports
- Supporting contract negotiations with clients and external advisers
- Assisting with collateral warranties, assignments and contractual documentation
- Maintaining legal databases and records
- Supporting claims administration and debt recovery processes
- Liaising with insurers and other stakeholders where required
About You
You will ideally have:
- A Law degree, MLaw, or a non-law degree with GDL/CPE conversion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- An interest in commercial contracts and in-house legal work
