An international consumer business is looking to hire a commercial lawyer to join its established UK legal team. This is a broad, high-exposure role supporting a fast-paced, creative business with a strong consumer and marketing focus. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial and operations acting as a trusted legal business partner.
The Role
- Provide day-to-day legal support across a wide range of commercial and marketing matters, with particular emphasis on:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across procurement, hospitality and operations
- Advising on marketing, advertising and digital campaigns, including promotions and partnerships
- Supporting IP matters, influencer agreements, creative services and brand collaborations
- Advising on PR, partnerships and private client initiatives
- Supporting data protection and membership programmes, including T&Cs and compliance
- Assisting with disputes, legal process improvements and legal training initiatives
- Working closely with external counsel where required
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ PQE (law firm and/or in-house)
- Strong experience in commercial contracts and/or marketing law
- Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-driven
- Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving business
- Enjoys collaboration and being close to the commercial decision-making
