A top 100 UK law firm with a strong presence across the North is looking for a solicitor to join its established Employment team in Leeds city centre. Due to their current team structure and the work pipeline, there is enough support and work for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join, up to a Solicitor with four years’ post-qualification experience. You would enjoy real responsibility from day one, working as part of a well-regarded national employment practice with an expansive client base.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day employment advice
- Corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings
- Employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation
- Collective matters such as restructuring/redundancies, integration and TUPE, and industrial relations
- Investigations (including regulatory investigations)
- Strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements
They are looking for:
- A newly qualified or upwards solicitor, with a seat in employment during training contract (if NQ level)
- Organised and methodical, comfortable juggling several matters at once
- A confident communicator, with clients and with colleagues
- Genuine enthusiasm for employment work and the drive to build a career in it
