LHH Executive Search is delighted to be supporting our client, a leading European multinational manufacturing company, as they seek a talented individual for the role of Managing Director to lead their vibrant and high-performing UK team. This is an opportunity to drive growth, increase profitability, and enhance market share within a key international subsidiary business generating approximately £5m in revenues, offering you the chance to make a significant impact.

In this role, you will oversee all functions within the organisation, including sales, finance, marketing, and operations (logistics and distribution), while developing and executing a business strategy aligned with the company's objectives. You will foster productive relationships with industry partners and key stakeholders, optimise the distribution chain, and improve operational processes. The position involves identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets, taking full ownership of the subsidiary's P&L and financial management, and cultivating a high-performing culture underpinned by collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic leader with a strong background in operational excellence, revenue growth as well as a strong aptitude for a technical product whose range is constantly expanding. You should be skilled in developing and retaining high-performing teams while experience with SAP is advantageous. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
