A well-established Accountancy firm is seeking an experienced US / UK Tax Manager for their Trusts and Family Wealth Team. This role offers exposure to complex tax matters, working with multinational clients and high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive client portfolio
- Provide line management to junior staff members
- Advise US connected clients who have income and assets held in trusts and estates
- Day-to-day management of the team including work planning, delivering appraisals and developing more junior team members on both technical matters and client management skills
Dual qualifications such as an EA/ATT/CTA/STEP are essential for this role.
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience working with both UK and US tax clients including cross-border trust structures
- Strong background in UK and US trust taxation, including income tax, inheritance tax (UK), and US fiduciary tax regimes
- Experience advising on US reporting obligations (e.g. trust disclosures, expatriate considerations, or US persons with foreign trusts)
- Confident working with international clients and global stakeholders
- Strong technical and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
