I’m currently working with a leading and highly regarded law firm who are looking to appoint a Senior HR Advisor on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor who is looking to join a collaborative, well-established HR function and take on a genuinely varied generalist role.
Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you’ll provide proactive HR support to the firm's Business Teams across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical advice across a broad range of HR matters while also getting involved in wider HR projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting the HRBP across the full employee lifecycle
- Advising on employee relations, performance management and absence matters
- Supporting flexible working, parental leave and other employee lifecycle processes
- Working closely with managers to ensure HR policies and processes are effectively implemented
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and probation processes
- Assisting with salary review, bonus, appraisal and promotion processes
- Producing HR reports and management information
- Contributing to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People team
We’re looking for someone with solid generalist HR experience who is confident providing advice to managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor role
- Strong employee relations and generalist HR experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience within a professional services or law firm environment would be highly advantageous
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
