We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Project Finance Lawyer to support a growing renewable energy platform on a 9–12 month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance lawyer with strong project finance experience to work on high-profile UK renewable power transactions within a flexible and collaborative environment.

The Role

You will provide support across a range of project financing matters relating to renewable energy assets and infrastructure projects in the UK. The role will involve advising on financing structures, reviewing and negotiating finance documentation, and supporting transaction execution alongside internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience in project finance transactions
  • Construction finance experience would be advantageous, although broader project finance experience will also be considered
  • Ideally UK qualified, however candidates qualified in other jurisdictions with strong experience of UK law governed finance transactions are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable reviewing and negotiating LMA-based financing and security documentation
  • Renewable energy or infrastructure sector experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • Ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced deal environment

Contract Details

  • Interim contract: estimated duration 9–12 months
  • Day Rate
  • Preferred start date: early July (flexible for the right candidate)
  • Flexible working arrangement: 4 days per week considered
  • Predominantly remote role, with fully remote working possible for the right individual
