We’re supporting a leading Financial Services organisation in the search for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join on a 12-month contract, working on a day-rate basis. This role sits within a well-established in-house legal team and will focus on providing commercial, pragmatic employment law advice across the UK and wider EMEA region.

  • 12-months - Day Rate
  • Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week in the London office
  • Working within a regulated financial services environment

The role:

  • Advising HR and senior stakeholders on complex employee relations matters
  • Supporting restructures, change programmes and ER cases
  • Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, policies and settlement agreements
  • Managing external counsel on disputes and litigation
  • Partnering closely with HR to ensure compliant, consistent people practices

About you:

  • Qualified employment lawyer with solid UK employment law expertise
  • Experience gained in financial services, a regulated in-house environment or a top law firm
  • Confident advising senior stakeholders with a commercial mindset
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment
