About the Role:
As a Supervising Solicitor, you will play a key role in leading and developing the family and childcare law team. You’ll work on a diverse caseload, providing expert advice and representation across various areas of family law, while also supporting team growth and maintaining high service standards.
Experience in the following areas:
- Care Proceedings and Public Law Outline (PLO) matters
- Divorce and financial settlements
- Private Law Children cases
- Domestic Abuse, Non-Molestation, and Occupation Orders
- General family issues, including unmarried couples and cohabitation disputes
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years’ PQE
- Is capable of leading and supervising a growing team
- Can work confidently both independently and collaboratively
- Is competent and willing to undertake their own advocacy
- Has an existing following (preferred but not essential)
- Is willing to work towards panel accreditation
- Proactive in networking and business development
- An understanding of legal aid procedures
The team works on a hybrid basis, combining office and remote working, with a culture built on trust, accountability and meeting deadlines and targets.
