The team advises a diverse client base of multinational corporates, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and senior executives on a broad range of contentious, advisory and transactional employment matters, many of which have an international element.
This opportunity would suit ambitious employment lawyers looking to join a high-performing, collegiate team with a strong reputation in the market. Whilst the role offers a broad spread of work, the firm is particularly interested in candidates with a strong employment litigation background, and transactional support experience is essential.
The RoleThe successful candidate will work across a varied employment practice, advising on complex workplace issues, employment disputes and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Key responsibilities will include: Advising employers on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Managing Employment Tribunal litigation and employment-related disputes.
Handling disciplinary, grievance, discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal matters.
Supporting corporate and private equity teams on the employment aspects of transactions.
Conducting employment due diligence and advising on TUPE, restructurings and workforce integration matters.
Assisting on cross-border employment projects and international advisory work.
Candidate RequirementsAssociateApproximately 2-5 PQE.Strong grounding across a broad range of employment law matters.
Solid experience handling Employment Tribunal claims and contentious employment matters.
Employment litigation experience will be viewed particularly favourably.
Experience providing employment support on corporate transactions is essential.
Excellent drafting, analytical and client management skills. Commercial, pragmatic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Senior AssociateApproximately 5+ PQE.Extensive experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment work.
Strong track record managing complex employment disputes and litigation.
Employment litigation experience is a key requirement and highly valued by the team.
Proven transactional support experience is essential.
Experience advising on M&A transactions, restructurings, TUPE and employment due diligence.
Strong client-facing skills with an interest in business development and mentoring junior lawyers.
International or cross-border experience would be advantageous.
