An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented banking Associate to join a growing and well-established London based law firm. Whilst the practice has a significant focus on real estate finance, the role also offers exposure to general corporate lending, acquisition finance and other bespoke financing matters. Associates are encouraged to take ownership of transactions, work closely with clients and play an active role in managing deals from inception through to completion.

The team operates with a lean structure, providing excellent opportunities for direct client contact, mentoring from senior lawyers and meaningful responsibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on a broad range of banking and finance transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and ancillary finance documentation.
  • Managing transactions and coordinating with external parties to ensure successful completion.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and providing commercially focused legal advice.
About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2–4 years' PQE.
  • Have gained banking and finance experience at a recognised London law firm.
  • Possess strong experience advising on finance transactions for lenders and/or borrowers.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of banking and finance law and its practical commercial application.
  • Be confident managing client relationships and handling matters with an appropriate level of autonomy.
