We’re currently recruiting for a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a busy in-house legal team on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential to extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to complex disputes work within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The Role
- You’ll support the legal team across a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including:
- Assisting with shareholder disputes
- Document review (both hard copy and digital files)
- Preparing court bundles
- Drafting instructions to counsel
- Supporting on witness statements and case documentation
- Attending meetings and actively contributing to case strategy
- Coordinating materials for external counsel where required (including employment matters)
The team utilises OpenText for document management, so experience with similar systems is beneficial.
What We’re Looking For
- 12–18 months’ commercial litigation experience (either in private practice or in-house)
- Exposure to document review processes (highly desirable)
- Strong drafting and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing deadlines
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the confidence to contribute in meetings
