Initial 3-Month Contract | Fully Remote (Occasional London Travel)

LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently looking to speak with Senior Interim Payroll Consultants to support a global client on a strategic review and audit of their UK payroll function. This is not a hands-on payroll processing role. Instead, the focus is on evaluating and strengthening existing payroll operations, controls, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess current UK payroll processes and frameworks
  • Identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and compliance issues
  • Evaluate controls, documentation, and governance structures
  • Provide clear, practical recommendations to improve and future-proof the UK payroll function
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to present findings and proposed improvements

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Consultant or Interim Payroll Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, compliance, and best practice
  • Experience conducting payroll reviews, audits, or transformation projects
  • Ability to work independently and deliver clear, structured recommendations
  • Comfortable operating in a global or complex organisational environment

Initial 3-month contract (with potential extension) Fully remote, with occasional travel to London. Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience).
