Join a well-known accountancy firm in a managerial position handling both team and client growth across an Accounts and Tax portfolio. This is a client-facing leadership role focused on managing and growing a client portfolio.

  • Delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services
  • Driving revenue growth and profitability
  • Leading and developing a high-performing team

This is a strategic, commercially minded position combining technical accounting expertise and leadership whilst managing key client relationships.

  • Own and grow a portfolio worth up to £180k revenue
  • Deliver insights and advisory support
  • Ensure deadlines, deliverables, and client expectations are met
  • Review and finalise Financial Accounts, Management Accounts, VAT Returns and Tax Returns
  • Ensure compliance with FRS102 and Tax legislation
  • Lead and support a team of Senior, Semi-seniors and Junior staff
  • Provide guidance and performance management
  • Drive efficiency improvements and profitability in service delivery
  • Contribute to business planning and revenue growth strategy
  • Manage projects within budget and timelines

The ideal candidate profile will be highly organised and have a strong practice background of Accounts and Tax exposure. Experience is essential in managing substantial client portfolios, stakeholder engagement, and advisory conversations.

  • Technically strong (FRS102, compliance and tax awareness)
  • ACA / ACCA qualified (ICAEW or ACCA)
  • Maintains confidentiality and professional ethics
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software, Excel and MS Office
