Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Sandwell
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Β£60,000 β Β£65,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
As the Financial Controller, you will:
- Manage daily finance operations and lead the finance team.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and management.
- Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly management accounts.
- Monitor financial risks and controls.
- Manage annual budgeting and year-end close processes.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- analyse financial processes to identify and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with departments to enhance financial literacy and accountability.
- Engage in ad-hoc duties as needed.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple tasks
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with financial software and systems
- A collaborative approach to business partnering
