Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Staffordshire

Remuneration: £85,000 – £100,000 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions.
• Oversee the creation of precise financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance to enhance profitability.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to inform decision-making and support growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and maintain robust internal financial controls.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect company assets.
• Engage with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify cost-saving measures and drive operational efficiencies.
• Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams on financial negotiations and contract management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve excellence.
• Work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives.

You Will Excel If You:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Have a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Bring experience in financial management, particularly in the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
• Possess strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Are familiar with ERP systems and financial software
